Jessica Vaughn - Singer-Songwriter, Sync Executive, Head Bitch Music

“When I found Sara, I had already been a trained singer and music professional for years. I honestly had no idea that there was so much more to learn about my voice and the mind / body connection that would ultimately take me to the next level.

I had an injury and I was so embarrassed that it had happened to me, but Sara really helped me get over the stigma of vocal injury and I have such a healthier mentality regarding my voice now.

I am better at checking in, being kinder to myself, utilizing the tools she taught me, and asking for help and guidance when I need it. Sara takes the pretentiousness out of vocal coaching and I am forever grateful to her.”   - Jessica Vaughn, Charlotte Sometimes/Head Bitch Records/Venice Music

Ming-Na Wen - Actor, Mulan, The Mandalorian, agents of SHIELD, ER

“Sara Leib was recommended to me by a friend.  I needed a vocal coach to prepare me for a role which required me to sing. I was very nervous because it’s been awhile since I’ve sang for a professional gig. The first time we met, Sara immediately put me at ease and made me feel I could sing!  In only a few lessons, Sara taught me so much about breath placement and singing. She is very intuitive and can pinpoint the exact reason why I’m not singing with the correct technique.  She will then immediately find a way to guide me to sing better. I also love how Sara explains everything in simple terms.  The best part in working with Sara is I now love to sing and want to continue to work on my voice.  She has a wonderful, bright energy and makes every lesson fun and productive. You will love her!   I highly recommend her!” - Ming Na Wen, Actor, ER, Mulan, The Mandalorian

Aretha Scruggs - Vocal Coach, Live and Session Singer, Natalie Cole, Christina Aguilera, Anita Baker, Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan, Patti Labelle, Jill Scott, India Arie and pop artists/producers Carrie Underwood, Justin Timberlake, and more.

“I have had the pleasure of being a colleague and friend of Sara Leib for a few years now, and just asked her out of the blue, last year, if she would help me get better at site-reading. I had taken so many group classes at community colleges, or at SAG-Aftra, even privately, but could not find a connecting point or thread between all these different things I learned, and how they made sense to me growing as a sight-reader. Sara cheerfully accepted the assignment, and we agreed to meet every other week. After almost a full year, I am comfortably standing on live stages and in studio recording sessions, reading as a professional fully sought out soprano musician and singer. My goal was to just improve my sight-reading, but with Sara, my confidence has shot up, my opportunities to sing and read have increased, and though I am still a work in progress, I can say the questions I have had for so long with the information I already knew, and where I wanted to go in my sight-reading journey have been answered. I  am getting better and better every week. Sara has empowered me to KNOW for myself, that I AM not only capable of being a hired site reading musician, but that I can put in the work to set up a discipline to continue getting better and better at it. Her way of taking the "scariness", the anxiety and the elitist mindset out of it, makes site reading feel like it is for everyone, not just a select few. I am forever grateful to Sara and her patience with me. She never once let our friendship keep her from pushing me, nor did she make me feel slow or stupid when concepts were over my head. She is a great teacher, and her empathy and ability to just keep showing up for her students is evident from the first lesson. Thank you for everything Sara you are a true teacher that any student would be honored to have.”  - Aretha Scruggs

Angela Parrish - Singer/Songwriter, Composer, La La Land

“Sara Leib is an incredible teacher, and you won’t be disappointed. It can be so difficult to find the right voice instructor in Los Angeles; the perfect combination of professional singing experience and stellar education is rare. But Sara is that rare find. She received her training on the East Coast at Berklee and NEC, and she has been a studio singer and working professional for years. She emphasizes breathing and singing the natural, healthy way and explains technique in a clear, direct manner. She has helped me so much with relaxation techniques! On top of all this, she’s a wonderful and kind person. Please go to Voice Studio L.A. and experience Sara Leib yourself!” - Angela Parrish

Kathryn Baar Laurent, Singer-Songwriter, Lead Singer, Spelles

“I have been a student at Sara Leib's Voice Studio LA  for years now and I can't express how much I have grown as a vocalist in my time working with her. She has not only helped me technically, but also with my confidence, awareness, musicality and performance skills as well. Sara is very knowledgeable on how the voice works and always steers me in the most healthy way possible to use my voice. She is a great listener and is always positive and encouraging!” - Kathryn Baar Laurent

Amir “nick” Ekbatani

“Sara is such an incredible teacher. She has a beautiful voice and an extensive knowledge of music and singing. On top of that...she knows how to effectively teach her students how to improve. In a city where anyone can be an “acting coach” or a “singing coach” - you really need to be careful. Most of these impostors are in it to make a quick buck. Sara actually loves music and teaching it. Her passion for all of the above makes learning that much easier. - Amir Nick Ekbatani

Julia Selbherr - Singer

“Good Morning Sara! Just wanted to update you with my acceptance at Berklee!! I’m so happy and grateful for all your support!” - Julia Selbherr

Dear Sara,

Thank you so much for you help in preparing my application video. Even though I didn’t spend an extensive amount of lesson time with you, what I learned in my two lessons, has helped me tremendously with my singing. I am pretty pleased with how it turned out and I guess the admissions people at NYU were as well because I was accepted!! I couldn’t more more excited! So once again, thank you; hope to see you soon.” — Ali Scharf

Once again, thank you for your invaluable guidance and support. Your mentorship has left a lasting impact on my musical journey, and I look forward to the opportunity to continue learning from you. - Tongxin Zhang

Natalie Jackson

“Your lessons are epic to me and among my standard of gold lessons for helping me progress on my riffing journey. I’m not where I would like to be, but definitely ahead of where I started. My muscle memory has increased. You are an awesome teacher with an incredible voice and I find many moments of brilliance in your lessons.  I am honored to be talking to you. Thank you again… - Natalie L Jackson

Ellen B.

“Today he met with the choral director for the first time when he went in to meet with his counselor. She caught him off guard and asked him to do a quick audition for her. He didn’t really want to so I am so thankful that he spent time with you because he was able to step up to her piano and run through the few warm ups with her. Afterwards he said he felt like it was a familiar process, like what he did with you. He was able to quickly demonstrate what he had to offer and she bumped him into the advanced group.

I’m so excited for him to be in a formal program singing every day and performing more regularly. You really boosted his confidence in his voice. And in his ability to learn and improve. Thanks so much!!!!”
